Trying to get caught up on writing after taking some time away to enjoy the company of family and have some fun. The boys and I had a great time, made some wonderful memories, and shared some new experiences together. We ate some fabulous food, we beached, we took some golf lessons and played our first round, we ate more delicious food and beached some more. There was lots of relaxing, laughter, and just really enjoying one another’s company. There is nothing like being with other people that you know, you can be your complete self around and everyone still have a wonderful time together. That is good stuff right there! It’s very similar to the small chapter I read out of Psalm this morning.
Psalm 121
A song for pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem.
1 I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
3 He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. 4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.
5 The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. 6 The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.
7 The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. 8 The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
The most significant difference though… Is that our God is always with us, morning, noon, and night. All day. All night. Every day. Every night.
He is where our help comes from. He, Himself, watches over us. Over you. Over me. The Creator of the universe has time even for me. Even for you. He never sleeps. He never slumbers.
We cannot forget how special we are to our Father. We are His children.
As much as us momma’s love our babies, that and over and over again cannot even begin to compare to the love God has for us.
I continue to ask the Lord to remind me of how much I am loved by HIm. To remind me of who I am in Him and through Him. To remind me that I am a daughter of The Most High King.
We fill our own cups with His Love. His Grace. His Mercy. His Forgiveness.
The single most significant work we can do toward improving our self development and spiritual development is to thoroughly understand, believe, and embrace who and what God and Jesus are to us, for us. Yes there is lots of H.A.R.D work. Yes, it is worth it. Yes, you can do it. Yes, we can do it, if we just do it.
But, all the hard work will still be lacking until we open our hearts in surrender to Jesus to allow Him to heal them. He’s right with us. Watching over us and protecting us.
Oh how we are Loved.
Much Love ♥️
